The Blanes Local Police has intensified controls in leisure and catering establishments, leading to the sealing of four premises and six arrests over the past three years.

Between March 2023 and April 2026, 49 inspections were carried out in bars, restaurants, and nightclubs in Blanes. These operations led to the detection of a total of 73 administrative infractions related to activities, games, and shows, in addition to 22 complaints filed for breaches of the Citizen Security Protection Law.
Joint operations, involving the Blanes Local Police, the National Police, the Mossos d'Esquadra, and the Labor Inspectorate, resulted in the identification of over 60 individuals and the arrest of six people. Furthermore, nine undocumented workers and at least 18 individuals in irregular administrative situations or cases linked to the Immigration Law were detected.
This control campaign was initiated following complaints from individuals and property owner communities regarding activities that caused disturbances, noise, and other disruptions to neighborhood coexistence. As a direct consequence of these inspections, four establishments have been sealed due to serious or repeated non-compliance with current regulations.

"I have congratulated the heads of the Blanes Local Police for these excellent results. Not only because it demonstrates, once again, their versatility and coordination capacity. Above all, because they contribute to improving coexistence, civility, and security in the city."
