Frit Ravich has announced a significant expansion in Maçanet de la Selva with the construction of a new 33,000-square-meter production center, expected to generate around 500 jobs.

The company plans to commence construction next year for this new facility, which will complement its existing central headquarters. This plant will primarily focus on manufacturing potato chips and snacks, while the current 26,000-square-meter site will continue operations, concentrating on dried fruit production.
Through this strategic investment, Frit Ravich aims to double its total production capacity before the end of the decade. The project's design also allows for phased expansions to potentially quadruple current capacity by 2050.
This ambitious plan, involving an investment exceeding 115 million euros, also includes the opening of a new distribution center in Madrid. Preliminary site preparation work in Maçanet has been completed, and the detailed design of the plant and its construction phases is currently underway.
The expansion will significantly impact the workforce, which currently comprises over 1,200 professionals. The family-owned company, founded in 1963, anticipates that the 500 new jobs could bring the total staff to nearly 2,000 employees, with a target revenue of 600 million euros.
