The Lloret de Mar City Council has given initial approval for the installation of a walkable fountain on Rieral Avenue, next to the Can Sabata children's park, aiming to create a new recreational and family area.

This initiative, which emerged from participatory budgets, seeks to revitalize a currently unused space, turning it into an attraction point for residents and visitors. The future fountain promises to be a distinctive element thanks to its innovative features.
The installation will feature 17 water jets capable of reaching up to three meters in height. These jets will be variable and will incorporate programmable multicolor LED lighting, allowing for the creation of dynamic water and light sequences that will generate attractive visual spectacles.
One of the most relevant aspects of the project is its focus on sustainability. The fountain's system will operate with a closed circuit, which will ensure a significant reduction in water consumption, aligning with responsible resource management policies.
The estimated budget for this action is approximately 479,000 euros. With the initial approval, the necessary administrative procedures are now beginning before the execution of the works can commence, which will transform Rieral Avenue.
