The Lloret de Mar City Council has initiated summer parking regulations to facilitate vehicle rotation in the face of increased visitors, including new zones and resident discounts.

The measure, which came into effect this week, affects several strategic points in the municipality such as Fenals, Boadella, Canyelles, and Can Lloranes. Additionally, non-exclusive green zones have been set up in Kaikuta and Marfull to manage traffic flow during peak months.
One of the key actions is the expansion of the Can Lloranes parking lot, which now has 160 spaces thanks to support from Next Generation European funds. This space will have 24-hour monitoring throughout the summer season.
For registered residents who pay vehicle tax in the municipality, a 75% discount on blue zone rates is maintained. In parallel, a new exclusive green zone for residents will open on July 1st in the Puigventós neighborhood.
Furthermore, a free park-and-ride facility has been operational since June 15th on Avinguda de les Alegries, intended for long-term stays to relieve congestion in the city center.
