Lloret de Mar to host major youth handball tournament Costa Brava Cup

Over 1,500 young athletes from 120 international teams will compete across the region during Easter.

The town of Lloret de Mar will lead the fifteenth edition of the Costa Brava Lloret Cup youth handball tournament, bringing together 1,500 participants from March 29 to April 2.

The competition features 120 teams from Catalonia, Spain, and European countries such as Sweden, Norway, and Poland. Matches will be held in Lloret de Mar, Anglès, Palafrugell, and other local municipalities.
The event also includes a panel discussion on mental health in sports featuring former professional player Viran Morros. Professional player Martina Capdevila will serve as the tournament's patron.
