A 27-year-old man from Sallent was found alive this Monday morning in Susqueda after being missing for a week in the area surrounding the Far sanctuary.

The man himself called the 112 emergency line at approximately 6:00 AM to report he was safe. Mossos d'Esquadra officers located him near his parked vehicle. Although showing signs of dehydration, he appeared to be in relatively good health.
The Medical Emergency System (SEM) transferred him to Olot Hospital for a medical check-up. According to police sources, the young man stated he had been wandering around the mountainous area during the days he was missing.
The search operation began on February 23 after his family reported him missing. The rescue mission involved Firefighters, canine units, and drones, although active field searches had been paused last Wednesday due to a lack of evidence.
