The initiative's primary goal is to enable seniors to remain in their homes for as long as possible, ensuring their autonomy, safety, and community support. The project covers all stages of aging and is structured as a cross-cutting strategy involving municipal services, healthcare providers, and local associations.
A central component will be the upcoming Elderly Care Office, set to open this autumn on the first floor of Can Blat. This space will serve as a key hub for information, guidance, and administrative procedures for the town's seniors.
Furthermore, the ViuLlar program will be implemented, specifically targeting individuals over 80 living independently. This service will facilitate contact to identify needs and introduce measures to bolster their autonomy and prevent isolation or vulnerability.
