Emergency services have launched a large-scale search operation in Susqueda to locate a 27-year-old man who has been missing for three days after traveling to the Selva region.

The search was triggered on Wednesday afternoon following a formal report filed by the family with the Mossos d'Esquadra. The investigation gained momentum when the man's car was found abandoned near the Santuari del Far, leading rescuers to focus on the surrounding cliffs and caves.
The Catalan Fire Department (Bombers) is coordinating the efforts from a command post in Sant Martí Sacalm. The operation involves 16 units, including the GRAE mountain rescue team, canine units, and specialized drone teams to survey the rugged terrain.
As of Thursday morning, fresh crews have taken over the search, continuing to comb through the dense forest and steep ravines. Local police units are also participating in the efforts to find any clues regarding the young man's whereabouts.
