According to Adif, the disruption was caused by a lack of electrical tension linked to ongoing maintenance works in the area. This affects the main rail connection between the Maresme and La Selva regions.

An alternative bus service has been organized to transport affected passengers between the two stations. Technical teams are currently on-site working to repair the fault and restore normal Rodalies operations.
