The Main Festival of Vidreres will take place from September 3rd to 7th with a program including concerts by Els Amics de les Arts and The Tyets, popular culture, sports, and family activities.

The municipality of Vidreres is preparing to experience five intense days of celebration with its Main Festival, scheduled from September 3rd to 7th. The program features a wide range of activities designed for all ages, combining major concerts, local traditions, family-friendly events, and sports activities.
The festival will kick off on Thursday, September 3rd, with a bicitrial exhibition by European champion Pol Pons, followed by the Moonlight Popular Pedaling and Sausage Festival. Music will continue at the Correbous Bar with Apaloseco Music and DJ Xirgo.
On Friday, the Main Festival opening speech will be delivered by the Club Futbol Sala Joves de Vidreres, preceding the presentation of the 2026-2027 Hereus i Pubilles (Heirs and Maidens). The evening will include a sea shanty concert with Americanus, a distribution of mulled wine, and dancing with La Band Gogh. The night at the 'barraques' (makeshift stages/bars) will feature performances by Deniros, Els Amics de les Arts, Banda Neon, and Mon DJ.
Saturday, September 5th, promises to be a highlight with a 'concert vermut' (pre-lunch concert), the traditional Correbous (bull-running), a parade of 'gegants' (giant figures), the Batucada Vitraca drum troupe, the XXXVa Popular Hot Chocolate event, and the 'correfoc' (fire run) by the Diables de l’Onyar (Onyar Devils). In the evening, the 'barraques' will feature The Tyets as the main attraction, supported by Oli de Cop, La Sra. Tomassa, and Les Que Faltaband. In Plaça Lluís Companys, there will be a tribute night to Mecano with Héroes de la Antártida.
Sunday, September 6th, will begin with the 'Txaranga' band ’Ls Desmadrats, the traditional Bous al carrer (bulls in the street), a popular sausage festival, and the XI Gathering of classic scooters and motorcycles. The day will also include the XV Main Festival Race, an aeromodeling baptism, a family magic show with Arnau Perramon, 'sardanes' (traditional Catalan dances), and family activities. Music will continue in the afternoon and evening with the Orquestra Internacional Selvatana, offering a 'sardanes' performance, a concert, and the Gala Ball. At 8:30 PM, the election and farewell of the Vidreres Pubillatge will take place, and from 11 PM, the 'barraques' will close the day with Aarpa i Meet Sax, K-ZU, and DJ Xirgo.
Monday, September 7th, will mark the end of the festival with the Solemn Mass, a 'concert vermut' with the 'cobla' band La Flama de Farners, and a concert and Vigil Ball with Montecarlo in Plaça Lluís Companys. During the afternoon and evening, attractions and fair rides will have special prices and operate without music, an initiative aimed at people with autism spectrum disorder or sensory hypersensitivity.
The Main Festival continues its commitment to being more accessible and inclusive, with reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility and functional diversity at various events in Plaça Lluís Companys.
