The Vidreres Local Police launched a new edition of its road safety education program this March, targeting students across all educational centers in the Selva municipality.

The main goal of this initiative is to foster safe and responsible mobility among local youth. Local Police officers visit schools to teach respect and coexistence within public spaces, tailoring content to different age groups.
Sessions cover essential topics such as pedestrian safety, current regulations for bicycles and electric scooters, and identifying risky behaviors. Special emphasis is placed on the dangers of alcohol and drug consumption while driving.
The project uses participatory dynamics and practical case studies. This allows students in Vidreres to analyze real-life situations and learn how to make safer decisions during their daily commutes.
