Municipal Inspection Services discovered the illegal activity through an advertisement on a real estate portal offering the property for weekly summer rentals.
During the inspection of the property, conducted jointly with Administrative Police, a guest provided information and images of their booking, which included a 14-night stay for 1,000 euros. Checks confirmed the lack of a tourist license.
This commercialization without the corresponding authorization constitutes a serious infringement under the Catalan Tourism Law, resulting in the established financial penalty.
As a precautionary measure, it has been decided to seal the property's door to prevent its continued use as tourist accommodation.
