The Maçanet-Massanes train station, located in the Selva region, was completely deserted on Wednesday morning following the total suspension of the Rodalies service due to damage caused by the severe storm on Tuesday.

The suspension of rail traffic, implemented to ensure safety conditions after the storm, has left the station without a single passenger. Although the ticket offices remain open, the staff member responsible for informing about the service interruption confirmed that no users had approached throughout Wednesday morning.
The station's location, situated between the municipalities of Maçanet de la Selva and Massanes, means that access is mandatory by private vehicle, which exacerbates the isolation during emergencies like this.

The station's public address system constantly repeats the warning that the service is halted until all safety guarantees are met.

On the tracks and platforms of Maçanet-Massanes, several Rodalies trains remain parked, awaiting the order to resume activity once the damage caused by the strong storm that hit the area on Tuesday has been repaired.
