Residents of Sant Hilari Sacalm aged 16 and over can decide until October 31st how to invest 50,000 euros from the 2027 municipal budget.

Throughout October, registered residents of the municipality have the opportunity to participate in the tenth edition of the Participatory Budgets. Each person can vote for a maximum of 3 proposals to determine the allocation of these funds.
Voting can be done electronically via the Decidim platform, without prior registration. For those requiring assistance, in-person voting points have been set up at the Town Hall, the Library, and Can Rovira. Additionally, on Sunday, October 25th, there will be a support point at the Market.
This initiative allows citizens of Sant Hilari Sacalm to directly decide on a portion of the municipal budget. Previous editions have funded projects such as the safe pedestrian path to Cal Sastre, the installation of surveillance cameras at the town entrances, the renovation of Moragues Square, and improvements to the football field.
Last year's winning proposal was the adaptation of an outdoor space for basketball and mini-basketball practice at the municipal sports area. This year's selected proposals will be executed during 2027.
