The municipality of Susqueda has been recognized for its excellent work in transparency and public information access. This distinction follows a new analysis conducted by the Ombudsman, mandated by the Parliament and in compliance with Law 19/2014.
The study evaluated 1,007 administrations, assessing the public information access rights evaluation index and the Catalan active publicity development index. Based on these results, the transparency index for Catalonia was created.
The town council, describing itself as a transparent rural micro-town, has achieved a score of 91.67%. The council commits to keeping citizens clearly informed and maintaining this score in future studies.
