The Diputació de Lleida (Lleida Provincial Council) has granted €6,800 to the Fènix association to ensure the continuity of free oncological care services for patients and families, mainly in Solsonès and Oliana.

The amount granted is part of the «Aid for health assistance actions for non-profit entities in the Lleida regions» corresponding to the year 2025. This subsidy is crucial for Fènix, a non-profit organization that offers comprehensive care throughout the illness process.
Among the services maintained by this aid, psycho-oncology stands out, offering psychological support to patients and families in collaboration with the Centre Sanitari del Solsonès. Physiotherapy is also included, aimed at physical recovery after treatments such as chemotherapy, thanks to an agreement with the ESPAIGUA center in Solsona.
The association also provides a personalized nutrition service and an educational support program for children and young people who cannot attend school regularly. In this case, professionals travel to the home to ensure educational continuity. Additionally, accommodation near the reference hospital in Barcelona is offered to facilitate family stays during long-term treatments.

Facing cancer, you are not alone; we accompany you.

Finally, Fènix promotes the Reprèn program, focusing on post-cancer job orientation, which helps affected individuals re-enter the labor market through the Incorpora project of the Fundació La Caixa. Cognitive rehabilitation services are also offered with specialized neuro-psychology professionals.
