Led by the Campus Solsona Foundation, the initiative brings together local authorities and educational centers like the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC). The goal is to centralize the educational offer to attract talent and boost regional economic growth.
A cornerstone of the project is the rehabilitation of the old Castellvell school residence. Known as the House of Talent, it will serve as a hostel and coworking space for students and researchers, addressing the local lack of student accommodation.
“"We need the hostel so that people coming for this training know where to sleep."
The 500,000 euro project involves a 23-year lease agreement with the Bishopric of Solsona. Funding will be secured through public grants, bank loans, and 500-euro participatory certificates offered to the local community.
