The Lleida Provincial Council has officially selected Solsona as the host city for the 3rd Catalan Repopulation Congress, scheduled to take place in March 2027.

Vice President Agustí Jiménez visited the capital of the Solsonès region this Friday to meet with Mayor Judit Gisbert. The meeting focused on the logistics of the biennial event, which aims to address depopulation and territorial balance through decentralized public policies.

"We want the Congress to be a meeting point for administrations and local entities to advance effective repopulation policies."

The city offers over 240 hotel beds and a strong cultural heritage, making it an ideal location for the summit. Previous editions of the congress were held in Lleida in 2023 and Sort in 2025, the latter attracting more than 270 attendees.
