The organization Solsonès Obert al Món (SOM) inaugurated a new office in Solsona's Casal de Cultura this March, marking a new chapter in its 28-year history of international cooperation.

The new headquarters, located on the second floor of the cultural center, replaces the former space provided by the City Council. This move provides SOM with better storage facilities and a larger meeting room to coordinate its team of twelve permanent volunteers and numerous collaborators.

"This space provides continuity to the organization and is always encouraging; it is spacious and functional, perfect for our meetings."

Carme Cusí · President of SOM
The NGO continues its work in impoverished areas of Africa, such as Uganda and Chad, as well as initiatives in Palestine. SOM distinguishes itself by directly managing funds raised through local solidarity concerts, ensuring resources reach projects without intermediaries.
