Solsonès Promotes Workshops for Co-responsible and Conscious Fatherhood

The Consell Comarcal del Solsonès, with the EntreHomes entity, organizes a cycle to rethink traditional male roles in parenting.

The Consell Comarcal del Solsonès has opened registrations for a new edition of the 'Fatherhood and Care' workshop series in Solsona, aiming to foster conscious parenting and co-responsible family relationships.

This initiative, promoted by the Equality Area of the Consell Comarcal, offers spaces for reflection and practical tools for men, covering from pregnancy to adolescence. The cycle is organized in collaboration with the EntreHomes entity, specialized in masculinities, and will be led by professional Míriam Alemán.
The sessions, which will take place in Solsona, are scheduled for April 22 and 29, and May 6, 20, and 27. The timings will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, except for the last meeting which will extend until 8:30 PM. Topics to be covered include preparation for fatherhood, respectful accompaniment, managing haste, sexuality and communication, and masculinities during adolescence.
A notable aspect of the program is the possibility for participants to bring their children to the workshops, as a childcare service will be provided. This project seeks to highlight fatherhood models that move away from traditional roles and is supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Pla Corresponsables.
