The Repsol Guide has distinguished 35 new Catalan establishments with the Soletes recognition, adding them to the list just before Easter Week, a key period for gastronomic tourism.

The award ceremony for the Spring 2026 Soletes took place this Monday in Alcanar, in Montsià, Tarragona, at a strategic time for tourism promotion. Catalonia has been one of the communities with the most additions, only surpassed by Andalusia, which added 43.

"We are going to embrace the Spring Soletes with enthusiasm this Easter Week. There is a desire to enjoy and discover new places. This edition includes places highlighted for their gastronomic proposal where you can also stay overnight, young businesses, and places where nature is the protagonist."

María Ritter · Director of Repsol Guide
The Repsol Guide's selection, which has awarded a total of 331 new Soletes across Spain, emphasizes innovative proposals, young businesses, and establishments that combine gastronomy with accommodation. Those located in natural environments, historic centers, or cities with high heritage value are also appreciated.
Among the new recognitions in Catalonia, the province of Barcelona has added several venues such as 77 kilos, Bar Bocata, and Celler Cal Marino in the capital, and La Nata in Sant Just Desvern. In Girona, Can Narra and L'Atelier in Llançà, and El Dau de Can Miquel in Sant Feliu de Guíxols stand out.
The province of Lleida incorporates Casa Rufus and Eth Refu in Vielha, while in Tarragona, establishments such as Arròs & Brases in Alcanar, Cinteta in La Ràpita, and El Gordo 2 in the city of Tarragona, among others, have been recognized.
The Repsol Soletes differ from the Repsol Soles by including a broader range of establishments, from cafes and bars to fast-food places, which stand out for their essence, product, and service, without necessarily being high cuisine.
