The Catalan Government has unveiled its 2026 budget proposal, which includes a direct investment of more than 300 million euros for the Camp de Tarragona region.

This regional funding is part of a broader 4 billion euro investment plan for Catalonia. The budget aims to address local needs in Tarragona while also tackling national challenges such as housing, which receives 1.9 billion euros.
The financial announcement, made this February, comes amid ongoing discussions regarding the fiscal deficit, currently estimated at 21.092 billion euros for the region.
