Mossos d’Esquadra officers arrested a couple in Tarragona on February 5, who had 44 prior arrests, for stealing a truck and taking items from inside another vehicle.

The arrest took place on Thursday, February 5, around 12:00 PM in the Floresta neighborhood of Tarragona, while plainclothes officers were carrying out crime prevention duties. The agents spotted a truck parked on Wiliam Tarin Naurer street that had been reported stolen since the previous Monday.
Upon approaching the vehicle, they located a woman sleeping in the cabin, and shortly after, a man appeared bringing her breakfast. The Mossos d’Esquadra quickly recognized the couple, as both had been arrested on numerous previous occasions for similar offenses.
During the search, several items were found, including two sets of glasses. It was confirmed that these glasses had been stolen from a vehicle burglarized on January 22 on Riu Siurana street, in the Campclar neighborhood.

Between the two of them, they accumulate a total of 44 police records for property crimes, specifically for various robberies inside vehicles.

The owner company recovered the truck, which had been stolen with the keys left in the ignition outside a workshop in Tarragona. Likewise, the recovered glasses were handed over to their owner. The couple had already been arrested on January 28 for another burglary inside a vehicle parked on Gran Canària street, in the Granja neighborhood.
