The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested seven individuals and dismantled several drug sales points and marijuana plantations in the Campclar neighborhood of Tarragona, following a two-month investigation.

The investigation began after receiving information about occupied flats in the Campclar neighborhood where narcotics were being distributed. One of these sales points was located very close to a school, which prompted accelerated police action.
During the operation, one flat and one commercial premises used for drug sales were dismantled, along with three other flats where indoor cannabis cultivation was found, totaling 700 marijuana plants. Officers also seized 70 doses of cocaine, 6.75 grams of rock cocaine, and 89 doses of heroin, all prepared for retail sale.
The seven detainees, one of whom is a minor and another had an active arrest warrant, have over a hundred police records. They are accused of crimes against public health and electricity fraud, as nine fraudulent electricity supplies were detected, amounting to an estimated economic loss of 50,000 euros annually.
In addition to the drugs, officers rescued three puppies of Belgian Malinois and American Staffordshire terrier breeds, which have been placed under the care of relevant services. The Catalan Housing Agency has recovered two of the properties involved, which will be allocated for social use, as part of the Neighborhood Plan aimed at eradicating crime linked to public health.
