Participation is open to all individuals registered in the eighteen municipalities where the Council provides collection and waste management services: Altafulla, el Catllar, la Canonja, Creixell, la Nou de Gaià, el Morell, els Pallaresos, Perafort, la Pobla de Mafumet, la Pobla de Montornès, Renau, la Riera de Gaià, Roda de Berà, Salomó, la Secuita, Torredembarra, Vespella de Gaià, and Vilallonga del Camp.
The central theme of the photographs must be waste management and selective collection in Tarragonès, with a positive focus that values the citizen's role in environmental protection. Works showing bad practices or with a denunciatory connotation will be excluded.
Images must be unpublished, original, and submitted in JPG format with a minimum resolution of 12 megapixels. Artistic editing is permitted, but works created with generative artificial intelligence will not be accepted.
Submitting an entry implies the transfer of exploitation rights of the photographic work to the County Council for its free use. If identifiable individuals are included in the photograph, a declaration of authorization will be required. Minors must present a signed authorization from their legal representatives.
The contest is divided into two categories: youth (14-25 years old) and adults (26 years and older). Each category offers three monetary prizes: 2,000 euros for first place, 1,500 euros for second, and 1,000 euros for third.
Applications can be submitted until December 3rd. All information regarding the call for entries, rules, and required documentation is available in the Environment section of the Tarragonès County Council website. The winners will be announced at a in-person award ceremony.
