The Port of Tarragona welcomed the technical stop of the 'Legend of the Seas', Royal Caribbean's new and imposing cruise ship, for three hours at the Moll de Balears.

The ship, on its maiden voyage, was greeted with traditional water jets from the tugboat Cambrils. This stop is part of its regular routes across the Western Mediterranean, with departures from Barcelona and Rome during the summer, before heading to the Caribbean for the winter season.
The 'Legend of the Seas' is the third ship in the Icon class, built at the Meyer Turku shipyards in Finland. With a length of 365 meters, it ranks among the largest cruise ships ever constructed.
It displaces 250,800 gross tons and features 2,805 staterooms spread across twenty decks, eighteen of which are accessible to passengers. It can accommodate up to 5,610 passengers in double occupancy, reaching 7,600 at maximum capacity. Around 2,350 crew members work on board.
