The opening day of the Festiuet in Salou yesterday brought together thousands of people who filled the venue to enjoy live music. The festival, one of the prominent musical events of the summer on the Costa Daurada, confirmed the generated expectation with a lineup that included renowned national and Catalan artists.
Names such as Els Pets, La Pegatina, The Tyets, Nena Daconte, Juan Magán, Doctor Prats, La Fúmiga, Teràpia de Shock, and Maria Jaume performed on the first day's stage. The concerts lasted over twelve hours, creating a festive atmosphere that extended into the early morning.
The organization anticipates that the festival will surpass 30,000 people throughout the weekend. This figure would solidify Festiuet as one of the main musical festivals in the Mediterranean and a significant tourist and economic boost for Salou during the summer season. Today's lineup includes performances by Leire Martínez, Lax'n'Busto, La Gossa Sorda, Figa Flawas, Buhos, Ginestà, En Tol Sarmiento, Malifeta, and Abril, with performances running from the afternoon until the early morning.
