The El Morell City Council has decided to bring forward its annual campaign for cleaning vacant plots and land, 'If you have a plot, keep it clean', due to the intense rainfall in recent months that has led to exceptional vegetation growth.

This preventive measure aims to remind property owners of their responsibility to maintain their plots in optimal conditions of cleanliness and conservation, as stipulated by current regulations. The early start of the usual calendar responds to the need to mitigate risks associated with the arrival of good weather, such as the proliferation of fires, insects, and rodents.
The council urges citizens to proceed with the cleaning of their properties. In case of non-compliance, the local administration may issue an execution order to carry out the cleaning tasks subsidiarily, passing the corresponding cost on to the property owners.
