This initiative is part of the organization's commitment to fostering cohesion with the city and good neighborliness with the entities of Serrallo and Barri del Port. The collaboration will allow for the organization of a retrospective exhibition that will review the history and recovery of this festive figure.
The exhibition, currently in the preparation phase, will be located soon at Espai Mar, although it is expected to be available for viewing in other cultural facilities in Tarragona as well.
The commemoration events will begin this weekend with the traditional Despertada, which will take place on Saturday the 25th in the afternoon, coinciding with the XXXV Festes del Barri del Port. This celebration highlights the trajectory of the neighborhood association that promoted the recovery of the figure three and a half decades ago.
