The strong mistral storm that hit Catalonia this Saturday recorded wind gusts of almost 140 km/h, leading to traffic cuts and restrictions on the AP-7 highway, especially in the south.

The most intense gusts were recorded around 9 AM, highlighting 137 km/h in la Riba, 136.4 km/h in Portbou-coll dels Belitres, and 134 km/h in la Sénia, according to data collected by the Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya (SMC) and Meteoclimatic.
