Midfielder Eugeni Valderrama has committed to Nàstic de Tarragona for the 2026/27 season in Primera Federación, thus returning to Catalan football.

The Penedès player Eugeni Valderrama has reached an agreement with Nàstic de Tarragona for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign in Primera Federación. This signing marks the return of the footballer, originally from Sant Jaume dels Domenys, to Catalonia after an extensive professional career abroad. His most recent experience was with Marbella, also in Primera Federación.
Valderrama began his professional career at Nàstic de Tarragona itself during the 2012/13 season. Since then, he has played for various clubs including Sevilla Atlético, Lleida Esportiu, Badalona, Valencia-Mestalla, Lorca, Cádiz, Albacete Balompié, Huesca, the Portuguese club Arouca, Real Zaragoza, UD Ibiza, and finally Marbella. Throughout this journey, he has scored a total of 41 goals, with his best offensive record coming during his time at Albacete Balompié, where he scored 8 goals.
The signing of the Penedès player is one of the key bets for Nàstic's coach, Xisco Campos, for the next season. The Tarragona team aims to be among the promotion candidates, despite the rather modest campaign the historic club has had this year.
