A fire in a Torredembarra apartment, on Avinguda de Catalunya, mobilized five Firefighter units and required attention from the Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) for three individuals, including an elderly person rescued by two neighbors.

Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out on Sunday on the third floor of a building on Avinguda de Catalunya in Torredembarra. An elderly person was inside the dwelling and was evacuated thanks to the swift intervention of two neighbors, who accompanied her to their home for confinement.
The Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) attended to the three individuals involved – the elderly person and the two neighbors – for possible smoke inhalation, although initial reports indicated their condition was mild. The incident was reported at 2:20 PM and mobilized five Firefighter units.
The fire completely burned the apartment's kitchen, while the rest of the dwelling was affected by soot and smoke. For this reason, Firefighters advised the affected person's relatives to ventilate the space and not to spend the night there.
