The Generalitat Firefighters carried out a total of 27 interventions for vegetation fires across Catalonia between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, prompted by a period of strong winds.

These services were recorded from 8 PM on Saturday until 3 PM on Sunday. The majority of operations were concentrated in the Girona area, where eight services were performed, accounting for 30% of the total.
Other affected areas included the Terres de l'Ebre and the northern Barcelona metropolitan area, with five services each. The Camp de Tarragona registered four interventions, while Ponent had two and Central Catalonia, three.
Among the most notable incidents, three forest fires were reported. One burned one hectare in Ripoll (Ripollès), another affected 2,500 square meters in Camprodon (Ripollès), and a third consumed 400 square meters in Blanes (Selva). The Rural Agents have urged caution as the Ventcat plan remains active.
