The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested four young individuals, including a minor, in Salou on April 22 for causing damage to 16 parked vehicles on Carrer del Nord, specifically breaking their rearview mirrors.

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when a citizen security patrol observed a group of four young people quickening their pace upon noticing the police presence. This behavior raised suspicions among the officers, who were shortly after alerted by a citizen about damage to vehicles on the same street.
The description provided by the witness matched that of the young individuals the patrol had seen moments earlier. According to preliminary investigations, the perpetrators had walked along the initial stretch of Carrer del Nord, from the intersection with Plaça d'Europa, striking the rearview mirrors of parked vehicles.
Officers quickly located the four suspects a short distance from the scene. After relevant checks, it was confirmed that a total of 16 vehicles had sustained damage. The arrested individuals, aged 18 and 19, along with the minor, were accused of a crime of vandalism.
The minor was placed at the disposal of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, while the other three appeared before the duty court in Tarragona on Thursday, April 23.
