These accolades, promoted by the Diputació de Tarragona and the Entrepreneurship Chair of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), were established in 2019 with the aim of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among young people in the region.
The award ceremony took place last Tuesday at the Auditori Diputació, attended by the deputy delegate for People and Talent and the director of the URV Entrepreneurship Chair. In total, over 90 projects were submitted, developed in educational centers in municipalities such as Amposta, Batea, Santa Bàrbara, and Tortosa.
Among the recognized projects, each awarded 700 euros, is TRASHBOT, from the Institut Escola Mare de Déu del Portal de Batea. This initiative proposes an intelligent recycling solution with a gamification system to promote good environmental practices in classrooms. Also recognized was RECO, developed by the Institut de l'Ebre de Tortosa, a digital application that connects e-commerce with packaging recycling.
These recognitions not only enable educational centers to continue fostering entrepreneurial projects but also strengthen key competencies among students and value the innovative ideas born in the classroom. Over the six editions of the InJUè Awards, nearly 2,000 students from 37 educational centers have participated in the competition.
