The air event Festa al Cel concluded this Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Salou, registering high public participation, a significant international presence, and a comprehensive organizational setup that ensured the smooth running of one of the city's major events.
Throughout the weekend, the beaches, promenade, and main streets of Salou became meeting points for families, aviation enthusiasts, residents, and visitors.
The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, highly praised the festival's development, particularly highlighting the public's response and emphasizing that the Festa al Cel enhances Salou's external projection and its capacity to host major events.
Granados expressed gratitude to all involved individuals and institutions, including public administrations, state security forces, the Local Police of Salou, the Mossos d’Esquadra, the SEM (Emergency Medical Services), Civil Protection, emergency services, and municipal workers, as well as the organization, logistics, mobility, security, cleaning, technical, and public attention teams.
For his part, the director of the Festa al Cel, Daniel Ventura, underscored the festival's growing international dimension, with teams participating this year from countries such as Latvia, Poland, and Sweden. Ventura explained that the complex logistics of bringing international aircraft and teams allow for a unique program and attract enthusiasts from afar.
