The Atresplayer platform will premiere the fictional series 33 days on June 7, a production by Carles Porta that recreates a prison escape and included filming in the old Tarragona prison.

This new audiovisual proposal, inspired by real events, tells the story of the escape of two inmates from Ponent prison in Lleida. Actors José Manuel Poga and Julián Villagrán lead the cast, playing the main characters in this high-profile evasion that kept security forces on alert for 33 days.
The series, which will consist of six episodes, will combine fictional elements with the reconstruction of the true events. Part of the filming took place in the old Tarragona prison, a space that served to recreate the Ponent penitentiary center. This location was chosen due to the impossibility of filming in the original prison, thus allowing for a faithful reproduction of the key scenarios of the escape.
