Asisa Tarragona SPSP will compete in the final of the Catalan Volleyball League after securing two consecutive victories. On Saturday, the team defeated CV Roquetes, adding to their earlier triumph against Balàfia.
Coach Vlado Stevovski utilized the entire squad, including academy players who regularly train with the first team. Despite satisfaction with the team's progress, the Macedonian coach noted that there are still aspects of play to improve.
The final of the regional competition will be played against Barça. Although the Tarragona club had requested to host the match, the Catalan Volleyball Federation has awarded the final to Sant Cugat. The game is scheduled for this coming Sunday at 5 PM.
This final comes at a crucial point in the preseason for the Tarragona team, who return to training after a rest day. The match against Barça will be their first encounter this season, as both teams will be in Group A of the Superliga 2.
