The play, written by Cristina Clemente, deals with love in maturity and second chances. It is promoted by the Department of Culture and Festivities of the El Morell City Council and will be the first of seven proposals including theater, music, and family shows.
The comedy La paella dels dijous (The Paella of Thursdays) stars actors Jordi Andújar, Lloll Bertran, and Núria Cuyàs, presenting a story that has been described as “as ordinary as it is surprising.”
The plot focuses on Mercè, who has lunch every Thursday with her two children, Guifré and Lia, preparing them paella. However, the fact that this time it is seafood paella signals that Mercè wants to communicate very important news that has changed her life, while her children suspect something serious.
It reaffirms the council's commitment to a quality cultural offer, open to all audiences.
Advance tickets for the performance on Saturday, January 17, are priced at 12 euros and can be purchased both at the Centre Cultural del Morell office and online. The price at the box office, one hour before the start, will be 15 euros, with a reduced rate of 5 euros for minors under 18 years old.
