Musician Manu Guix will headline the closing ceremony of Salou as the Capital of Catalan Culture on Saturday, March 28, marking the end of a year-long program.

The event will take place at the Teatre Auditori de Salou at 7:30 PM. Hosted by journalist Helena Garcia Melero, the gala is open to the public with free admission. Xavier Tudela, president of the Capital of Catalan Culture Association, will also attend the institutional act.
Throughout the year, Salou has hosted approximately 400 activities involving local associations and groups. Local authorities emphasized that this initiative has successfully showcased the town's cultural diversity beyond its reputation as a sun and beach destination.

"It has been a great opportunity to show that Salou is much more than sun and beach, highlighting a rich, active, and diverse cultural fabric."

The town took over the title from Sabadell and began its journey with an opening ceremony led by Ramon Pellicer. This final gala celebrates the social cohesion and civic participation achieved during Salou's time as a cultural beacon.
