Lyrical music will be the highlight of the night in El Morell with the ninth edition of the 'Dijous d'estiu' cycle. Following the traditional habaneras, one of the most anticipated events arrives: an educational version of 'La Traviata'.
The show will take place at 10:00 PM in the Town Hall garden, with free and open access for all attendees. The aim is to bring the opera's plot closer to the general public through live musical fragments and explanatory commentary.
The cast of opera singers includes soprano Sara Bañeras, tenor Jesús Piñeiro, and baritone Joan Garcia, who will bring to life the drama of Violetta and her romance with Alfredo, tragically cut short by family opposition.
This initiative, organized by the Department of Culture and Festivals of the El Morell Town Hall, seeks to liven up summer nights with quality cultural offerings.
The program will continue on August 27th with an open-air cinema screening at Plaça Francesc Macià, showing the family animated film 'Zootropolis 2'. In September, the cycle will feature a comedy monologue by Xavi Daura (September 3rd) and the 54th International Folklore Days of Catalonia with the Agrupació Folklòrica Encantos de Mi Panamá (September 10th).
