The technical incident, which has also affected municipalities such as Cambrils and Constantí, according to Ona La Torre, the municipal radio station, has left various key facilities and departments inoperable for the city's functioning.
Among the affected services are the Local Police, sports facilities, the tourism department, the Cal Bofill civic center, the libraries, the social services offices, and the municipal radio station itself.
The Police have a secondary Internet line that allows them to continue certain operations, but the telephones are not working. In case of emergency, it is recommended to contact 112. The radio station, meanwhile, has been able to continue broadcasting on FM, but the online transmission has been interrupted.
The municipal ICT department has confirmed that Adamo is working to resolve the incident. However, the company has not yet communicated an estimated date or time for the full restoration of service.
