Hundreds of teaching professionals from Tarragona traveled this Friday, March 20, to Barcelona to join the final day of a week-long series of strikes and protests in the Catalan education sector.

The final day of protests began early at Imperial Tàrraco Square, where twelve buses picked up approximately 800 people. The group included teachers, administrative staff (PAS), and educational support personnel (PAE), all heading to the Catalan capital.

"We need to show strength so that the Department returns to the negotiating table and addresses our demands."
