More than 1,000 members of FC Barcelona cast their votes in Tarragona this Sunday to elect the club's new president between Joan Laporta and Víctor Font.

The election day in the province is centered at the Palau de la Diputació de Tarragona, which remains open until 9:00 PM. According to data from board spokesperson Josep Cubells, 1,032 people had already voted at this location by 1:30 PM. The universal census allowed many members with second homes in the region to vote in the city.

"I am very excited to be here today, to exercise my right to vote and be part of such an important day for Barcelona fans."

Notable figures in Tarragona included Jordi Sendra, spokesperson for Junts per Catalunya at the Tarragona City Council, who publicly backed Laporta. Globally, turnout by 1:30 PM exceeded 21,000 members, with the Camp Nou recording over 18,000 votes.
While stars like Sergio Busquets and Aitana Bonmatí voted in Barcelona, legends Xavi Hernández and Carles Rexach supported Víctor Font. The day proceeded smoothly, except for a census issue that prevented goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen from voting.
