The company Reus Transport has announced that its fleet will increase by 25% this September with the arrival of four new hybrid buses. These vehicles will officially debut at the start of the school year, but beforehand, on Thursday, September 3rd, they will be presented to the public in a special event at Plaça de la Llibertat.
The event, named #REUSestrenaBUS, will take place from five to eight in the evening and will feature music and entertainment. Attendees will be able to tour the interior of the new buses between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
In addition to the new vehicles, information will be available at the square about the new «A l’insti en bus» service. This initiative revamps five specific routes to facilitate student travel to the city's high schools, a significant improvement thanks to the fleet expansion.

The president of Reus Transport, Marina Berasategui, highlighted that the fleet expansion is a response to a sustained increase in demand and that the new hybrid buses will help meet it.
