The Salou City Council has reaffirmed its commitment to the town's orderly growth by developing sector 05 in the Els Emprius area, where the construction of 1,376 homes is planned.

This urban project, a key element for Salou's expansion, is already well underway. As of March 4, 2026, 365 apartments have been completed, with another 96 currently under construction. The plan is notable for its high volume of Social Housing (HPO), representing 75% of the units finished so far.

"We are building a more modern Salou, better connected and prepared for the growth of the coming years."

Pere Granados · Mayor of Salou
Beyond residential growth, the local government is working on an Intermodal Transport Complex. This facility will locate the future bus station next to the new railway station, enhancing connectivity via 30 d'Octubre Avenue.
