The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, presented the second edition of the Festa al Cel airshow this Thursday at the Air and Space Museum in Madrid, scheduled for September 18-20.

The event aims to establish the Tarragonès municipality as a leading aeronautical hub in Southern Europe. Organizers expect to attract over 400,000 attendees, surpassing last year's figures. This edition will focus on expanding night-time programming, featuring five specialized displays with lasers, drones, and pyrotechnics integrated into a new audiovisual narrative.
The lineup includes Eurofighter jets from the Spanish Air Force and the historic HA-220 Super Saeta, marking its 75th anniversary. International teams such as the Baltic Bees Jet Team and Scandinavian Airshows will join military units like the Aspa helicopter patrol. Civil aviation will also be represented by Vueling and Level aircraft, alongside acrobatic pilot Cástor Fantoba.
