The Rovira i Virgili University (URV) has suspended face-to-face activity at its campuses in Baix Penedès and Vilafranca del Penedès this Wednesday, September 9th, due to the activation of the INUNCAT alert for heavy rainfall risk.

The decision was made following the alert issued by Civil Protection, which forecasts intense rainfall for the day. In addition to the suspension of university activities, it is advised to avoid travel to and from these two regions.
While the alert status remains active, work activities at the affected campuses will be carried out remotely through teleworking, whenever possible. Furthermore, individuals residing in Baix Penedès and Alt Penedès who need to travel to other URV centers will also work remotely.
The university recommends that the rest of the university community follow the alerts issued by Civil Protection via their official account (@emergenciescat) and exercise extreme caution given the weather forecast.
