The Tarragona City Council launched a new mobility plan this Monday, prohibiting delivery vehicles from entering Plaça de la Font and relocating logistics to Rambla Vella.

The first day focused on educating drivers about the new system, which uses the Parkunload app to manage parking times. The Guàrdia Urbana monitored the area where 20 new spots have been created by reorganizing bus stops and parking spaces.
While city officials, including councilor Sonia Orts, view the transition as successful, the ADIScat association warned about increased labor risks and costs due to the distance couriers must now travel with heavy goods like glass bottles and kegs.

"The priority is for them to be able to unload in the designated space and avoid double-parking."
