The Tarragona City Council has unveiled its official March 8th agenda, featuring a series of events from February 23 to March 10 focused on women's rights and local history.

The program, titled Som Imparables (We Are Unstoppable), aims to address persistent gender inequalities. Renowned journalist Núria Valera will open the schedule at the Palau Firal i de Congressos with a lecture on urgent feminism and the challenges posed by digital-age discrimination.

"The city will not normalize any setback in equality matters or any form of violence or misinformation."

Cecilia Mangini · City Councilor for Equality
Key highlights include an urban route through neighborhoods such as Bonavista and Sant Pere i Sant Pau, honoring 51 influential local women. On March 6, an institutional ceremony will feature female members from the city's four Casteller groups performing a human tower as a symbol of collective strength.
